FSI Names Joe Caggiano Chief Operating Officer
McLean, VA - December 16, 2003 FSI, the nation's preeminent supplier of actionable government-IT market intelligence, today announced Joe Caggiano has been appointed Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Caggiano will be directly responsible for all operational and financial activities at FSI, including overseeing the company's consulting, database and event lines of business.
Mr. Caggiano joins FSI with over 18 years of management, sales and business development experience in professional services, with a focus on Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP), Business Intelligence, and Business Performance Management solutions. His background includes sales management and business development roles Deloitte, Arthur Anderson, WR Grace and Pfizer. Mr. Caggiano has a BS and MBA from Villanova University and began his career with several tours of duty as an officer in the U.S. Navy.

Following Washington Management Group's (WMG's) acquisition of FSI, Bill Gormley, a 32-year veteran of government procurement, has assumed the role of FSI's President. With his extensive experience in reengineering the GSA Multiple Award Schedules Program, Mr. Gormley brings FSI a unique perspective and insight into the public sector market.
While serving as Assistant Commissioner for the Office of Acquisition, Federal Supply Service, GSA, Mr. Gormley received both the Presidential Rank Award for Meritorious Executives and the Vice President's "Hammer Award" for changes to the Federal Supply Schedules Program. He was named twice to the "Fed 100," a prestigious group nominated by their peers for outstanding contributions to industry and government. He remains very active within the federal business community, serving on the Boards for the Procurement Round Table, AFCEA (Bethesda Chapter) and the National Industries for the Blind. He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, and is a Certified Purchasing Official of the National Institute for Government Purchasing.
